Rifugio Ciampac is located in the heart of the Dolomites in Fassa Valley, in the beautiful alpine dell, which is well reacheable with the homonymous cable car coming up from Alba di Canazei both in summer and winter. It ‘s the ideal starting point for hiking in summer and skiing in winter, especially the famous Ski Tour Panorama and connected by Sellaronda.
When Tradition matches the Nature
Rifugio Ciampac is run by the Valeruz family, famous skiers and ski instructors, is a cozy and rich in tradition typical mountain refuge. It’s a open window on the unique landscape of the Dolomites, when sitting inside the refuge it seems to touch the mountains, painted in a picture: Colac, Crepa Neigra, Sella, Pordoi and Piz Boe.

Snowboard
The “Ciampac” track is one of the most famous slope in the whole Dolomites. It is extremely technical, 2,5 km long with a climb of 660m and drops directly on the village. The Skiarea is endowed of a Cross Country Skiing’s Ring at 2000 mt altitude.
Panorama Ski Tour
The Panorama Ski Tour is a great skiing adventure. More than 50 km of ski runs, starting from Alba di Canazei to Pozza di Fassa. Reach the Sellaronda, 4 Pass Tour with Alba – Col dei rossi Ski Cable Car.

The refuge’s managers take care of the self-service restaurant. Particular attention to the quality of the food is a must. Our traditional kitchen consist in a menù full of flavors and tipical dishes, that can be savored in a wide Ladin style restaurant. When needed a faster snack, enjoy sandwiches and sweets at the bar.

About us
Stunning view that deserve the walk up there. The house of Strumpf that is close to the rifugio is very nice and kids loved it going continuousely in and out. a small park for kids is also available. Very nice and kind personnel for the service. Then We decided not to take the transport untl the closest village and we experienced a fantastic walk down the mountain to digest the merveillous food served there.

A beautiful sunny terrace facing the ciampac slopes . Have a hot soup with a beer . Wonderful mountain view. Good beginners slopes and a children's playground in wintertime.now newly connected by lift to Canazei ski area .
